We are now looking for an IT Technician for one of our clients in Malmö. In this role, you will be an important contact person for the local operations and responsible for ensuring that the IT environment functions as it should on a daily basis. You will work closely with users, solve technical problems, ensure that systems and equipment are stable, and contribute technical expertise when new solutions are to be implemented or improved. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in a similar role and who thrives in a business-oriented position where you have the opportunity to continue developing and take responsibility.

Your responsibilities

In the role of IT Technician, you will work closely with the business and have overall responsibility for the local IT environment. Your main tasks include:

• Being the technical contact person for the unit

• Ensuring stable operation of digital systems, platforms, and equipment

• Managing the IT hardware lifecycle: inventory, purchasing, installation, and configuration

• Participating in and supporting local IT projects, such as new solutions and hardware upgrades

• Providing 2nd line support for hardware and software

• Performing preventive maintenance and monitoring of the IT environment

• Handling incidents, prioritizing cases, and escalating when necessary

• Contributing technical support in projects and during larger rollouts

We would like you to

• Have at least one year of experience as an IT Technician in similar areas of responsibility

• Have good knowledge of hardware installations, troubleshooting, and on-site IT support

• Be self-driven, structured, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Be communicative, service-oriented, and enjoy a role with many contact points

• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have experience working in larger organizations or retail environments and if you have participated in or led IT-related implementation projects.
